Bob’s Stores closing all locations, including WestboroughWESTBOROUGH – Bob’s Stores has announced the closing of all its locations, including the one at 168 Milk St.

Inventory is being discounted at 30% to 70% off. Gift cards and merchandise credits will be honored through close of business on July 14. All sales are final during this store closing event. No returns will be accepted.

Select store fixtures, furniture and equipment will also be available for sale.

Exchanges will be accepted in accordance with the company’s existing policies through the close of business on July 14. No exchanges for purchases made after July 14 will be accepted.

The closings are part of a Chapter 11 restructuring petition filed on June 18.

“Despite making swift and aggressive changes to the company’s structure and operations, Bob’s Stores was unable to secure the finances needed to maintain operations,” according to a press release from Bob’s Stores.

Dave Barton, president of Bob’s Stores said, “We regret that our financial position necessitated the liquidation of Bob’s Stores. Bob’s has been a stalwart of our local communities for nearly 70 years, and we know our customers remember us as having been there for major moments in their lives. We remain grateful to our vendors, suppliers, customers and employees for all of their support over the years.”
