Grafton – Theresa M. (Cichy) Bloom, 87, passed away July 11, 2024.

Her husband Robert Bloom passed in 2001 and her daughter Jennifer passed in 2009. She leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Jennifer and her sister Adele Hiltz and her caregiver Kenneth Foley.

Theresa was born in Worcester, August 14, 1934 and her roots were there. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Worcester through the eighth grade and then David Hale Fanning Girls Vocational High School until 1951 earning her certification as a Power Stitcher.

Theresa worked for several clothing manufacturers including RJ Toomey and then did alterations for Rudy’s Dry Cleaners in North Grafton. She and her husband Bob also made many different leather products which they sold at the Grafton Flea Market and other craft shows. She also enjoyed crocheting towels and making many other crafts.

She was a parishioner for many years at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in Worcester and then St. Mary’s Church in North Grafton. Theresa was also active at The Grafton Senior Center where she enjoyed making crafts.

Theresa’s wishes were to have donations in her memory to The Grafton Food Bank PO Box 324 Grafton, MA 01519.

Funeral services and burial were held privately.

Roney Funeral Home of North Grafton assisted with arrangements.
