Northborough/Framingham – William A. Heskey, 77, passed away peacefully at the Coleman House – Northborough in the early morning hours of Friday, July 19, 2024.
He leaves his devoted wife of 56 years, Dorothy (Hamilton) Heskey; a son, Kenneth W. Heskey; a granddaughter, Alexzandria D. Heskey and one sister, Jeannie Zabchuck. Bill was preceded in death by a son, James P. Heskey and a brother, George Heskey.
Born and raised in Newton, Bill was one of three children to Albert and Frances (Giuon) Heskey. He was a 1965 graduate of Newton North H.S. prior to attending Lowell Technical Institute where he earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and was a proud member of Delta Kappa Phi. With a lifelong desire to learn, Bill would later continue his studies at Babson College, where he earned his MBA.
Bill was a hard worker with an exceptional work ethic. He was a dedicated and well respected employee of 35 years at Polaroid Corp. During most of their marriage Bill and Dorothy resided in Framingham, where they raised their family. For the past 15 years the couple resided in Northborough. Bill enjoyed spending time in NH, most especially at the family’s vacation home in North Woodstock., NH. He found solace while hiking the White Mountains and looked forward to taking in a Red Sox game with his son, James.
Bill’s funeral will be held at 11am on Friday, July 26th, at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough. Interment will be private, at a later date. There are no calling hours.
