Marlborough – Zachary Ross Lynn, 34, of Marlborough, died tragically and unexpectedly on July 11, 2024, at home.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Pamela (Bernstein) Lynn of Pleasantville, NY; his wife, Amy (Sorabella) Lynn and daughter, Audrey Rose Lynn; and his brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Allison Lynn. In addition, Zachary is survived by many extended family members, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Born and raised in New York, Zachary graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 2011 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he majored in computer science.
Zachary went on to work as a Senior Software Engineer for Cimpress. Zachary was an avid music lover, and maintained a lifelong fascination with technology and space travel. He loved climbing and could always be seen bouldering with his coworkers after work. He truthfully enjoyed the work that he did, both in his professional career as well as his software projects at home. In a time when it is so rare for people to love their jobs, Zachary was lucky in that way.
Zachary and his wife enjoyed six short years together, meeting in 2018 and marrying in 2021. Their beloved daughter, Audrey, arrived in 2023. In addition to his family, Zachary will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his treasured friends and colleagues.
A funeral service for Zachary will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at 11:00AM at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant Street, Marlborough, MA 01752. Visiting hours will follow until 1:45PM at the funeral home.
