Steven E. MullenRutland – Steven E. Mullen, 62, passed away July 16, 2024 unexpectedly due to an illness at his home.

He leaves the love of his life, Barbara Smith, his three sons; Shane and his wife Tabitha of Gilbertville, Ethan and Zachary both of Worcester, his mother June (Mullen) Murray of North Grafton, 6 grandchildren and three siblings: brother Daniel Mullen and his wife Lilly of Auburn, his sisters Marla Levitre of North Grafton and Lisa Ellis of Millbury, 12 nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Gene P. Mullen and his nephew Joseph Levitre.

Steven was born in Worcester and his roots were in North Grafton before he moved to Rutland more recently. By trade he was a truck driver for many years and was also an Electrician. Away from work he was a Black Belt in Go JU Ryu which he also taught. He was an avid hunter, loved camping and fishing and took great care in maintaining his home, his animals, feeding the birds and maintaining the wood pile. He and Barbara recently raised chickens and they donated eggs to those in need in Worcester.

Memorial services for Steven will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
