Central House 50th Anniversary Block Party

Saturday, Aug. 10, 3 to 7 p.m., Central House Tavern, South Street, Westborough. Live music starts at 4 p.m.; $10 cover charge per adult (children are free). This is technically a private event — everyone attending, even if just inside the bar/restaurant must check in, pay the cover, and get a wrist band which signifies 21+ or under. This was encouraged by the town and will allow us to have a fun safe event.

The event will include the Summer and Spice food truck; the BORO Sugar Shack; outdoor beer and wine garden (21 years and older); dunk tank sponsored by WASA ($5 or two food item donations, with proceeds to benefit the Food Pantry); lemonade stand, with proceeds going to the Armstrong School; a tie-dye station ($5 per T-shirt); face painting, bounce house; pony rides and more. This event will be held rain or shine.
