MARLBOROUGH – Madison Quinn, a lieutenant (junior grade) with the U.S. Coast Guard, recently graduated from the state’s Firefighting Academy Career Recruit Training Program.

Quinn is a member of the Marlborough Fire Department; she was assigned to the department through the SkillBridge and Hero to Hero programs.

Hero to Hero places active-duty military personnel in roles as first responders.

Quinn will work and train with the department as a firefighter until she completes her military obligation in November, at which point she will become a permanent member of the department.
