May 26, 1942 – Aug. 10, 2024
Hudson – Rose M. (Perkins) Bairos of Hudson, MA, 82, passed away at Marlborough Hospital on Saturday August, 10, 2024 with her loving family by her side.
She is survived by her sisters, Ann and Patricia (Patty) Perkins of Hudson, with whom she lived with, her son James (Jimmy) Bairos and his children, Cameron and Bailey, also of Hudson. She is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Bairos Sr., her son, Anthony Bairos Jr., and her sister, Mary (Perkins) Pitard. While she had a special bond with her five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, she had a beautiful bond with her grandson, Jason Ryan, who now lives in Texas, as she helped raise him into the wonderful person and father he is today.
Rose was born on May 26, 1942 in Fall River, MA to Merton and Mary (Simoes) Perkins. Merton and Mary moved to Hudson where they raised their four girls and attended the Hudson school system.
After school, Rose began working at Dennison Manufacturing in Maynard, MA. She then went on to work at Marlborough Hospital in the food service department until her retirement.
Rose will be sorely missed by her extended family that is spread throughout the United States.
Rose was very supportive of the Hudson Boys Club, (now the Hudson Boys and Girls Club) when her sons were young. She found enjoyment volunteering for Bingo Night and other events the Club would sponsor.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose – Marlborough Chapter.
Rose loved taking cruises, playing bingo, trips to Foxwoods, attending concerts, and taking part at Moose conventions. She never forgot birthdays or holidays, and along with her sisters, they made sure everyone they cared for got a card for every occasion.
Her biggest joy in life has been watching Cameron and Bailey as they grow. She loved having them over for movie nights, dinner, sleep overs, and spoiling them, which happened weekly. Seeing their big, beautiful smiles filled her heart with endless joy.
Rose was such a beautiful force. Her absence will leave a void for many people. If you knew Rose, her smile and the light in her eyes was all you needed to see to know that everything would be okay. She just had that presence to bring peace to so many. Life is a little darker to those who will miss her dearly. However, she left so many positive and touching memories in so many hearts, Anyone who knew her can’t help but smile thinking of whatever memories were share over the years.
