Back to School Used Book Sale
Saturday, Aug. 24, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 25, noon to 2 p.m., Grafton Public Library, 35 Grafton Common. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Grafton Public Library.
Attention teachers — we are offering 50% off ALL books so you can stock up on everything your classroom needs this school year. We are also again offering a bag sale on Sunday – fill a bag for $5. Prices range from 50 cents to $2 per book. Special pricing for collections.

Monthly Panther Trail Loop Walk
Saturday, Aug. 24, 9 a.m. to noon. Sponsored by Marlborough Recreation. This month, explore the trail from Sherman Street that runs parallel to Framingham Road through the historic Marlborough Brook Filter Beds, then along Framingham Road, Maple Street and Granger Boulevard through Ward Park and ends on the trails at Lake Williams.
Parking can be found along the road on Sherman Street and Framingham Road – there will be signs at the parking location. This is a 3+-mile one-way walk, and transportation will be arranged from Lizotte Drive back to your cars on Sherman Street.
