Feb. 8, 1963 – Aug. 31, 2024
Millbury/Grafton – Mario P. Puzo, Jr., 61, passed away unexpectedly at home August 31, 2024.
He leaves his wife of 11 years Jennifer (Germain) Puzo, his children Angela Puzo, Kirsten Puzo and Colby Vento, his sister Gina Rondeau and her husband Willy, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, his stepfather Bob Kuczka, stepbrother Robert Kuczka, stepsister Laurie Kuczka, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and a nephew.
Mario was born in Worcester, MA, son of the late Anne Marie (Guyette) and Mario Puzo, Sr. His roots were in Worcester and Auburn.
By trade most recently he was a Warehouse Manager, but in no way did his work define who Mario was. He adored his family; time spent with his wife Jennifer and his children was first above all else. He took joy in the simple things, a trip to the shores of Hampton Beach or York Beach in New Hampshire and Maine with a fresh plate of fried seafood, a day trout fishing on a lake here in Massachusetts, daily trips to Dunkin Donuts and always taking care of his home and lawn, meticulous to every detail in everything he did.
He was a loyal Boston sports fan and wherever Mario was there was no doubt music playing; the standards of every genre from Willie Nelson to The Eagles to Frank Sinatra or even Iggy Pop, whatever the day’s mood might have been right for.
All are welcome to gather with Mario’s family and friends Wednesday September 4th from 4-7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday September 5th at 11am at St. Philip’s Church on West Street in Grafton. Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers please honor Mario with a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital at http://www.StJude.org.
