Grafton – David Callahan, 78, passed away October 2, 2024 at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. He was the son of the late Shirley (Gagnon) and James Callahan.
David leaves his brother Stephen, his sister Sheila and her husband William, nephew Christopher and his wife Ivanna, niece Elizabeth and her husband Juan, niece Kathleen and her partner Brendan, grand-nephew Ignacio and grand-niece Lucia.
David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was also an active member of the American Legion Post 92 in Grafton where he was a past Commander as well as holding several other posts through the decades, but that was just part of his story! He will be very missed by one and all.
On Sunday October 20th at 12pm we will honor and celebrate his life at Post 92 in Grafton with full military honors and a gathering at the Legion function hall afterwards. Come one and all as we send David off with style!
