Haunted Hillando Halloween Maze

Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 26, 6 to 10 p.m., Ski Ward, 1000 Main St., Shrewsbury. Electronics Recycling

Row for WASA 

Prototype Training Systems, 50 E. Main St., Unit 1, Westborough, will host the annual Row for WASA on Saturday, Oct. 19. Registration will take place from 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.; the event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Teams (four to six members) will complete a 24k meter row together. There will also be a separate kids’ fitness event; food trucks; a bounce house; games; and prizes.
In addition, there will be face painting, live music and a beer garden.

Teams need to raise a minimum of $400. Prizes for top fundraising team and individual.
Proceeds will go to the Westborough Athletic and Social Association (WASA).

Recycle Your Junk – Saturday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Navin Rink, 451 Bolton St., Marlborough. All towns welcome; rain or shine. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Marlborough. Recycle your electronics, electrical equipment, large appliances and yard and lawn equipment. It costs $40 per carload or pickup truck load. Additional charges apply for certain items. Scarecrow Day – Saturday, Oct. 19, 10 a.m. to noon, Assabet Park, Northborough. Sponsored by Northborough Recreation. Free. Bases available at the recreation office at Town Hall. Assemble your scarecrow and drop them off at the park on Oct. 19. The Department of Public Works will hang all the scarecrows on posts. All families are welcome.

Open Mosque Day
