NORTHBOROUGH – The Community Affairs Committee has announced that the Jack O’Lantern Stroll and Contest is back this year.

On Oct. 25, between 3:30 to 6 p.m., residents can drop off their decorated and/or carved pumpkins at the Town Common for display.

That night, the pumpkins will be lit, and they will remain on display until Sunday evening. During the event, there will be music, candy, facepainting and tattoos, and people who come dressed in a costume will receive a donut.

Voting will take place online over the weekend. There will be prizes for the spookiest, most creative and for ages 10 and under.

The contest is for Northborough residents and free to enter, though a donation to the Northborough Food Pantry is encouraged. Sign up to enter here.
