Hudson – Carol Ann Audette, a cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to so many passed away on October 22nd, 2024 in Newton, MA, after a short illness. She was born on November 9th, 1946, in Marlborough, MA.

A proud graduate of St Ann’s Academy, Carol completed her education in 1965 and dedicated much of her professional life to Raytheon, where she worked in Document Control until her retirement.

Carol was known for her sweet and caring personality. She was funny and kind. She loved to read, go to the gym and loved to ride her bike. She loved spending time walking and dining with her friends. She love to go to concerts (especially Rod Stewart!) She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and loved attending church, where her faith played a significant role in her life.

Her family was her pride and joy, and Carol treasured the time spent with them, especially her seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Raising a beautiful family was one of her proudest accomplishments, and she remained an integral part of their lives.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Gabriel J. Audette who passed on November 14th 2017.

She later found companionship and a soulmate in Brian D. Harrington who brought her immense love and joy to her life until his untimely passing on September 14th 2022.

Carol is survived by her son, Michael A. Audette and his wife Kimberly of Upton; her son, Peter J. Audette and Pam of Leominster and Groton; and her daughter, Suzanne J. Hatch and her husband Chip of Hudson. And her grandchildren: Tiffini and her husband Tom, Brianna and her husband Lance, Brandon, Lauren, Chris, Joey and Tyler and her great grandchildren: Isabella, Tommy Jr., Zahra and baby Atlas.

Carol’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of so many and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her services will be held at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home in Hudson, MA, on October 27th, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for visitation. A Mass will take place at Saint Michael’s Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA, on October 28th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at Saint Michael Cemetery at 11:15 AM.
