WESTBOROUGH – The Fire Department had a busy Monday morning, responding to two accidents on the Mass. Turnpike, and one on Route 495, within the space of a few hours.
The first accident, at the 58.6-mile marker on Route 495, resulted in two people being transported to the hospital.
The second accident occurred at the 100-mile marker at the Turnpike. There were injuries, but no further details have been released. The third accident, also with injuries, took place at the 107.6-mile marker.
Firefighters also helped an injured hiker in the Jack Straw Brook area on Saturday, Oct. 26. Westborough Engine 4, Medic 4 and the department UTV were on scene.
