HUDSON – Brigham Street is officially open.
This August, the Department of Public Works announced that work was moving forward and the crews would be mobilizing on-site later that month.
At that time, Department of Public Works Director Eric Ryder estimated that the work would take about two months to complete.
During the Oct. 7 Select Board meeting, Ryder shared that the culvert was installed as was the drains and head walls and crews would begin working on the water main. Paving was scheduled for the last week of the month.
A portion of the road has been closed since August 2023 to address the culvert with drivers being detoured down Harriman and Reardon roads.
