WESTBOROUGH – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that the I-495 southbound on-ramp (exit 106) from I-90, will be closed overnight for part of this week.
The work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, Nov. 6, continuing into the morning of Friday, Nov. 8, during the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
During work, a detour will be in place. When the I-495 southbound on-ramp (exit 106) from I-90 is closed, traffic will be directed to follow the detour signs and use I-495 northbound to exit 59B (Route 9 westbound), to reverse direction back to I-495 southbound.
Appropriate signage, law enforcement details and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.
Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution.
All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to an emergency.
