Grafton – Dianne M. (Papagno) Avery, 74, passed away November 15, 2024 at CareOne Millbury following an illness. Her husband William Avery predeceased her in 1983.
She leaves her brothers Paul Papagno and his wife Marilyn and Garry Papagno, her nieces and nephews Stephen, Alexandra and Kenneth Papagno, Linda Polom and Kelly Russ. She was also predeceased by her sister Patricia Russ.
Dianne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Marion (Langway) and Frank Papagno. Her roots were in Shrewsbury, she was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School and went on to live in North Grafton for many years. She worked as a Secretary for Prudential Insurance for several years.
Dianne lived with Huntington’s Disease for many years and led an independent life with strength and determination. In lieu of flowers please honor her with donations to Huntington’s Disease Society of America at http://hdsa.org.
All are welcome to gather with Dianne’s family and friends Wednesday November 20th from 10-11am at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 11:30 at St. Mary’s Church 17 Waterville St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. She will then be laid to rest at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
