Marlborough – Wayne A. DeLuca, 68, passed away peacefully at home on hospice, November 20, 2024, in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

He was born in Framingham, the son of the late Alphonse and Jennie (Rabbete) Deluca. Wayne dedicated much of his life to serving others both in his professional and personal life.

Wayne’s career spanned various roles, notably with Allied Universal Security and Securitas Security Services. He was also committed to his calling as an Independent Ordained Minister with the National Association of Christian Ministries. His faith was an integral part of his life, he enjoyed the Marlborough Methodist Church, where he also enjoyed the fellowship and guidance of Pastor Logan.

Alongside his wife, Kathy, who preceded him in death, Wayne ran a DJ company, sharing his love for music with others at many celebrations. His hobbies brought joy not only to him but also enriched the lives of those around him.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his 2 daughters Alicia Aggas and Justina Tambeau; 3 grandchildren Miyah R. Aggas, Liam Wondra and Julian Lima; his brother Paul Rabbete, nieces Paula Isaac and Pam (Isaac) Lane; great (great) nieces and nephews. His extended family members Paul and Tracy Marcheterre, Tyler Semmel, Trevor Marcheterre, Stephen Semmel, Kara (Semmel) Ramos; favorite extended nephews Keith Semmel and Jordan Semmel; special family friend and caregiver TJ Resch.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 19 years, Katherine DeLuca, his sisters Joanne DeLuca and Jean Isaac.

His life was one of kindness, service, and love, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11am in the Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough MA. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.

Visitation will be an hour before the service from 10-11 am also in the Funeral Home.
