WESTBOROUGH – Firefighters capped a very busy Monday responding to a crash with injuries on Route 495 southbound between Route 9 and the Massachusetts Turnpike.
Crews were also summoned to an outside fire on Bowman Steet and a medical call on East Main Street. All crews committed, and a private EMS assisted at the crash.
Earlier in the day, Westborough Fire responded to a report of a grease fire at 290 Lyman St.; a multi-vehicle crash at Mill Road and West Main Street; and a crash with injuries at 346 Turnpike Road.
According to Westborough Police, the crash at West Main Street involved four vehicles with no injuries. One of the operators was issued a citation. Three vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
The crash at 346 Turnpike Road involved two motor vehicles. One operator complained of minor discomfort and was cleared by paramedics. No citation was issued.
