SOUTHBOROUGH – It may not have been on a sleigh led by Rudolph, but Santa did come to town for the annual Santa Day celebration.
His helicopter touched down at St. Mark’s field where a group of children awaited his arrival. He then proceeded to the Community House to hear what the kids wanted for the holidays.
Inside the Community house, Mrs. Claus read holiday stories, and the kids could participate in a holiday craft and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate.
Santa Day has been taking place for over 30 years and is thanks to the efforts of the Southborough Kindergroup; their presenting sponsor, the Southborough Community Fund; and and their Gold sponsors.
