Worcester – Dalila Gamez De Teo, 45, of Worcester and formerly of Marlborough died surrounded by her family on Friday December 13, 2024 at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester.  She was the wife of Elio Teo for the past 30 years.

She was born in Nueva Concepción, Escuintla, Guatemala, was the beloved daughter of Eulalio Gámez and Rosa (Paredes) de Gámez. She was a devoted member of Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough and a cherished member of the Fourth Community. A devout Catholic, Dalila lived her faith with love, kindness, and humility.

She found joy in the simple things of life, especially in her garden. Dalila loved planting flowers and nurturing them as they grew, with a special fondness for pink roses. Her passion for gardening mirrored her nurturing spirit, which extended to her role as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Dalila was deeply proud of her four grandchildren and adored every moment spent with them.

Dalila was an avid traveler, but it was her joyful and kindhearted nature that made her truly memorable. Her warmth, humor, and generosity of spirit touched everyone she met. Known for her humility and her ability to bring light and happiness to any situation, she will be remembered as a loving, fun, and humble woman who truly made a difference in the lives of those around her.

She leaves her husband of Elio Teo of Worcester; three sons, Jerson Teo Gamez and his wife Heidy of Worcester, Omar Teo Gamez and his wife Yoselin of Marlborough and Elio Teo Gamez of Worcester; five brothers, Daniel Gamez of Espirito Santo, Brazil, Mauricio, Luis, Eulalio and  Dagoberto Gamez all of Marlborough; four sisters, Maria Barrera and Carmen Gamez both of Marlborough, Yolanda Arias and Lillian Gamez both of Guatemala; four grandchildren, Leandro, Matthew, Jerson D. And Avian; many nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Miguel, Julia and Brenda Gamez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday December 19 at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, Prospect Street, Marlborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery, 24 Hopkinton Road, Westborough. Calling hours will be held Wednesday December 18 from 6-9 PM in the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
