Grafton – Michele (Duprey) Small 57, passed away December 11, 2024 at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband John Small, her brother James Duprey and his wife Vicky, sister Esther Luccese and Denise Duprey and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Richard and Paul Duprey.
Michele was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Evelyn (Carlson) and Joseph Duprey. Her roots were in Shrewsbury, she was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School and she lived for many years in Grafton with her husband John.
Always hard-working Michele was the Office Manager for J W Small Garage Door for many years and also worked for the Sunoco and Mobil stations in Westborough and was a driver for Westborough Taxi. Closer to home she was always close by her beloved dogs, you were likely to hear Bob Seger playing and she was closely connected to many friends at New Hope Chapel in Westborough.
Michele was always fiercely independent and quick to get out and see the country and travel. She routinely took trips to California, Arizona or Florida to visit family among other destinations on vacations over the years.
Michele’s family would like to acknowledge the compassionate and caring staff who were so dedicated to caring for her during her time at Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation.
Calling hours will be scheduled soon. Burial will be private at a later date.
