SHREWSBURY – Pay As You Throw (PAYT) customers in Shrewsbury will be able to use one free non-PAYT trash bag from Dec. 30 through Jan. 4.

The bag can be up to 35 gallons and should be placed on the curb on their regular collection day. The town encourages residents to use the free bag to dispose of non-recyclable items such as wrapping paper and styrofoam.

Anyone with questions should call the Department of Public Works at 508-841-8591 or email [email protected].
