WESTBOROUGH – Here’s the latest schedule leading up to the Annual Town Election on Tuesday, March 11.
Nomination papers are now available in the town clerk’s office in Town Hall, 34 W. Main St.
Monday, Jan. 6 – Last day for Select Board to notify town clerk of any vacancies
Thursday, Jan. 16, 5 p.m. – Last day to obtain nomination papers.
Tuesday, Jan. 21, 5 p.m. – Last day to submit signed nomination papers to registrars of voters/town clerk for certification. You must submit 50 signatures of certified, registered voters in Westborough for your name to appear on the ballot.
Thursday, Feb. 6, 5 p.m. – Last day to object or withdraw papers.
Friday, Feb. 28, 5 p.m. – Last day to register to vote for Annual Town Election and Annual Town Meeting.
Tuesday, March 4 – Last day to post town election/town meeting warrant.
Wednesday, March 5, 5 p.m. – Last day to request a vote by mail ballot.
Tuesday, March 11 – Annual Town Election. All precincts will vote at the Westborough High School gym, 90 W. Main St.
Saturday, March 22 – Annual Town Meeting, to convene at 9 a.m. at the high school auditorium, 90 W. Main St., continue through the week, beginning at 7 p.m. each day, until dissolved.
Town clerk’s office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 508-366-3020 or email [email protected]
