Northborough – Jean M. “Meema” (Frado) Baldelli, 92, a longtime resident of Northborough, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 4th 2025 with loved ones gathered at her side after a period of declining health.
Jean was born in Marlborough, one of three children of John and Anne (Cunningham) Frado. She was raised in Marlborough, she graduated from Marlborough High, where she was a MHS Cheerleader.
Meema then met and married the “Love of her Life’ Robert V. ‘Beepa’ Baldelli. They settled in Northboro to raise their family with faith, love and family for the next 67 years before Robert left her side on October 17, 2019. Jean was very happy to be a stay-at-home wife and mother caring for her family.
Meema leaves behind the family she cherished, her daughter Pamela Flynn of Shrewsbury; two sons, Daniel and his wife Susan of Templeton, and Robert of Worcester; four loving granddaughters; Amy Hunt, Beth (Carter) Elworthy and her husband Alan, Jennifer (Baldelli) Corriveau and her husband Steve all of Shrewsbury, Stephany (Baldelli) Stinson and her husband David in Florida; five great-grandchildren, Lillian, Emily, Sophia, Max and Olivia; A sister, Barbara Rando and her husband Randy in Hernando, Florida; Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her husband Bobby, her son David in 2017, her son-in-law, Michael Flynn in 2022 and brother Richard Frado all pre deceased her.
Jean was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family, and guided them through life’s challenges. She was a fabulous cook, social butterfly who loved to dance, play cards, volunteer her time to town activities, or to anyone who asked or needed her. She loved to entertain in her house or backyard; Family, friends and neighbors were always welcome. She was also active in politics, and notably at one time worked for Congressman Jim McGovern.
In her life the most important thing was being with her granddaughters and great grandchildren, these memories will always be remembered and cherished.
A period of calling hours will be held Thursday, January 9th from 3 pm to 6 pm, followed by a prayer service, in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be private.
