Hudson – Margaret R. (Gill) Murphy passed away on January 1, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Leo F. Murphy. A lifelong Hudson resident and parishioner at St. Michael Parish. Margaret was the daughter of John and Rose (Charland) Gill.
She is survived by her three children, Lee Murphy, Patricia Petisce, and Sharon Walsh. Seven grandchildren, Maureen, Elizabeth, Joseph, James, and John Murphy and Margaret and Matthew Walsh. Seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Stephen, brothers John, Joseph, Robert, and sister Anne Simoes.
Margaret was the longtime secretary at the Mulready school. A volunteer at Our Fathers Table, Marlborough Low Vision Group, and an Associate of the Sisters of St. Chretienne.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Margaret’s life with a Funeral Memorial Mass to be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10:00 am in Saint Michael’s Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA. Urn burial will be held in the spring of 2025.
