Utica, NY – Craig R. Fallon 50 of Utica, NY and formerly of Marlborough passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025 in Rose Monahan Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Craig was born in Framingham, MA the son of Michael C. and Claire F. (St. Germain) Fallon.

He graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School, Class of ’92 and earned his BA at Boston College, Class of ’96. Craig worked as a Manager for multiple CVS over the past 20 years.

Craig is survived by his wife of 8 years, Melissa (Defreitas) Fallon and his daughter Magda Fallon both of Canada, a step-daughter Olivia Stevens, 2 step-sons, Logan Rockey, Ciaran Dye 2 step grandchildren Dominic Armstrong and Lucina all of Canada, his parents Michael and Claire Fallon of Marlborough, 2 brothers Sean Fallon of Marlborough, Kevin Fallon and his wife Amy of Worcester, 2 sisters Laurie Ann Fallon of Lawrenceville, GA  and Nicole Fallon Mahoney and her husband Sean of Marlborough, a nephew Matthew Carlman and his wife Caroline of Norwood.

Craig was a true Boston sports fan – but would be most remembered for his love of the Boston Bruins. He loved reading, music and writing his own stories for his blogs. He was a loving father and husband and spent all his free time between NY and Canada making as many memories with his family as he could before he could no longer make the drive. His sweet and calm personality was loved by all, and he will be missed greatly.

A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11 am in St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough, MA followed by burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Wilson St., Marlborough.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 prior to his Funeral Mass in Short & Rowe Funeral Home, 95 W. Main St., Marlborough.

Craig’s family would like to thank all the staff at Rose Monahan Hospice House for all their care, love and support during his time spent with them.
