REGION – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that overnight work on the Interstate 495 southbound on-ramp from Interstate 90 in Hopkinton will start Tuesday, Jan. 21, and continue through the week.
The ramp will be closed from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. MassDOT anticipates all work to be completed by Friday morning, Jan. 24, weather-permitting.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured up to Route 9 westbound (Exit 59B) to reverse direction back to I-495 southbound.
Appropriate signage and law enforcement details will be in place. Drivers should anticipate delays and exercise caution while traveling through work zones.
