Mary P. BradyNorth Chelmsford – Mary P. (Manning) Brady, 85, of North Chelmsford, formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2025. For over 58 years, she was the loving wife of Eugene J. Brady, who predeceased her in 2022.

Mary was raised in the Bronx by her affectionate and devoted parents, Patrick and Mary Manning, both immigrants from County Mayo, Ireland, along with her brother, Patrick, who predeceased her.

Mary bought her first home with her husband in Wyckoff, New Jersey, and spent almost fifteen years raising a family and working in the area before moving to Shrewsbury, Massachusetts over forty years ago. Mary enjoyed a long and full life, including her final years spent at Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings and the Atrium at Drum Hill.

Mary made friends wherever she went, and she was always the life of the party. She was known for her quick wit and expressiveness, as well as her gorgeous, piercing blue eyes. She loved to chat on the phone, but also enjoyed quieter pursuits such as reading the newspaper and crocheting blankets. Mary was generous and kind, and she was a longtime donor to many charities.

Mary is survived by her three daughters: Doreen Brady and her husband Theodoros Moisiadis, Brenda Alcorn and her husband Don, and Monica Derico and her husband Francisco. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Parthena Moisiadis and her husband Alexander Fetterman, Panagiotis Moisiadis, and Emma Alcorn.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 24th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Rose of Lima Parish, 244 West Main Street, Northborough. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury
