Michael A. MalagutiHudson – Michael Albert Malaguti passed away on January 24th, 2025 at his home in Hudson, Massachusetts, following a brief illness caused by Covid-19. He is predeceased by his father Albert Malaguti.

He is survived by his Mother Joyce (Busi) Malaguti, of Plymouth MA; his sisters Maria Malaguti of Northampton MA, and Lynne (Malaguti) Guidetti of Gainesville Florida; niece Nina her husband Shelly; his uncle Gus Malaguti and his long-time companion Anne; cousin Anne Marie and her family.

Michael was reserved, yet his calm and serene demeanor had a reassuring effect on everyone he met. He had a great love of nature and animals, spending many hours outdoors. In the early 2000s, he developed a notable interest in researching Bigfoot. This interest culminated in a cross-country journey to Oregon during the summer of 2016, where he participated in an expedition.

Michael was born in 1958 in Plymouth Massachusetts. He served as an altar boy at Saint Mary’s Church in North Plymouth, MA. He graduated with high honors from Sacred Heart High School in 1976, earning a College Preparatory diploma.

For years Michael studied with Sifu John C. Loupos at Jade Forest Kung-Fu, Tai-Chi, Internal Arts. Michael had 40+ years of experience in Shaolin and Northern Praying Mantis Kung-Fu. 35+ years in the Healing Tao System of Internal Arts.

From the mid-1980s until 1998, Michael held the position of Assistant Foreman at A.D. Makepeace Co. in Wareham, MA. During this period, he gained extensive knowledge in plant botany and cultivation.

Michael had been practicing Reiki since 1997. He received his Master Teacher Certificate in 2001 and taught numerous classes as well as facilitating individual healing sessions. He worked successfully with children, adults, the elderly, and animals. Michael’s background included many years of martial arts training, chi-kung, and meditation. He received his first and second degree of Reiki Training with John Harvey Gray, and his master teacher training with Susan Lee Traft. He utilized his intuitive abilities and energetic perception of auras to aid in his energetic healing sessions.

In his later years, Michael provided counsel and advice to individuals in recovery and those struggling with depression. He effectively integrated Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (R.E.B.T.) with energy healing techniques and counseling sessions.

A celebration of Life and burial services will be held at a later date.
