WESTBOROUGH – A man suspected in the alleged kidnapping of a juvenile girl has been arrested, according to Westborough Police.
On Jan. 28, the Westborough Public Safety Communications Center received a report that a juvenile girl was being held against her will at a hotel. Police said that officers responded to the Extended Stay on Connector Road. The victim was located and transported to a hospital to be evaluated.
The Westborough Police Department and Massachusetts State Police launched an investigation and identified the suspect as Iury Vieira DeSouza. Police said he has a possible Shrewsbury address and was seen operating a black Acura with a Massachusetts license plate of 1GXJ36.

Westborough Police issued a warrant for the suspect on Thursday, Jan. 30. According to Deputy Chief Steven Tompkins, the suspect turned himself in after he heard there was a warrant out for his arrest.
Vieira DeSouza is scheduled to be arraigned in Westborough District Court on Friday, Jan. 31.
