Hudson – Shirley M. Kimmens passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 3, 2025, at Marie Esther Health Center in Marlboro, MA.
Born in Bakersville, PA to John and Goldie Knupp she lived with her husband of 61 years Harold (Ray) Kimmens until his passing in 2016.
Shirley is survived by her two daughters Cheryl K. Franke and Sheila Kimmens. She was predeceased by her son Douglas Kimmens (Michele) and her beloved son-in-law Arthur Franke (Cheryl). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christine (David), Veronica (Nathen), Benjamin Davis, Daniel Franke and L. Fox Franke; her great grandchildren, Myla and Rylie Makai, Ewan Wheeler and Sparrow Eliza April as well as her brother Jon J. Knupp, and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Shirley grew up in Somerset, PA and moved to Washington, DC at the age of 17-½ to work for the FBI where she met her husband, Ray. They moved to Hudson in 1961 and Shirley worked as a secretary for many years retiring from Raytheon in 1993.

Burial will be private in the Old Main Street Cemetery in Hudson MA.
