HUDSON – The Hudson Public Library is seeking community feedback as it lays out its next four years of work and programming in town.
Circulating a survey online, the library is asking community members a few dozen questions to gage a number of metrics. These range from peak hours of interest, to favorite programs, to visitor satisfaction with virtual and physical library assets and spaces.
The survey is available as a Google form at https://www.facebook.com/HudsonPublicLibrary. Those interested in filling out a paper copy of the survey, though, may also do so by visiting the library in person. All surveys are due Saturday, May 22.
This outreach push will gather information to help the library draft its strategic plan for 2022 through 2026.
In kind, this outreach happens as the library reopens its doors for drop-in visits following over a year of COVID-19 restrictions and closures.
Visitors need not book appointments. But capacity restrictions remain in place. And the library is asking guests to limit their stays to one hour.
“As we navigate through these service changes, your patience, enthusiasm, and compliance are greatly appreciated,” reads a statement on the library website. “The well-being of our community and staff will always be our top priority.”
