Continuing mission of Hudson High alumna in Honduras

Hudson – After graduating from Hudson High School in 2010, Michaella “Kayla” Walsh Libby majored in public health at the University of Maryland (UM). There, she tutored inner-city children with Kids Power in Washington, D.C., and raised funds for the UM chapter of Students Helping Honduras (SHH), with whom she planned to travel and help build a school. However, she died unexpectedly in 2012 at age 20, only weeks before that trip.

Westborough woman runs to home base for fellow veterans

Westborough - Technical Sergeant Kara Vautour is preparing to run in the 2014 Red Sox's Run to Home Base event Saturday, July 19. The event is held to raise money and awareness for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) for veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. This will be the Westborough resident's first year participating.
