Shrewsbury - The Worcester County Food Bank (WCFB) received a 33,000-pound food drop off from Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) and General Mills June 3. The donation is a part of OSJL's "Three Square Meals" program. According to company officials, the program provides food donations at important times throughout the year. As the program has grown, the company has become a leading food bank supporter throughout New England.

Marlborough – Over 200 guests arrived stylishly dressed circa-1920s for the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce's (MRCC) 90th Anniversary Gatsby Gala, celebrated May 2 at the Marlborough Country Club. Northborough/Shrewsbury - Fred the Turkey helped celebrate the Juniper Hill Golf Course 17th annual Turkey Day Nov. 20 in Northborough. Golfers donated a frozen turkey in lieu of greens fees. Due to the generosity of the Juniper Hill golfers, 306 turkeys were collected.
