Hudson - Throughout his youth, Brian Bowen played baseball and hockey, including hockey for one year at Fitchburg State University. Today, in addition to his job as a town assessor for Hudson, the lifelong resident of Hudson has continued to bat for youth sports.
Hudson – Welcoming the members of the School Committee present, Board of Selectmen Chair James Vereault called the June 6 selectmen meeting to order and went about the business of filling a seat left vacant by Selectman Chris Yates's election to the board; Yates had previously been a School Committee member.

Westborough – At its May 24 meeting the Westborough Board of Selectmen granted site plan extensions to several businesses that are planning to renovate properties in town. Although the extensions were granted willingly, a recent measure passed at the Annual Town Meeting (ATM) held May 14 means the board will no longer have to do this for future projects.
