Marlborough – Welly’s Restaurant in downtown Marlborough at 153 Main St. offers casual dining and large portions at good prices. Parking is available on-street as well as in the municipal lot a block away. Arriving about 1:30 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon, we were seated quickly and spent a few minutes going through the numerous choices on the regular menu as well as the many lunch specials being offered. In the dining area, there was a good mix of families and couples out to enjoy some of Chef Wellington’s tasty creations. They also offer an extensive drink menu as part of their full bar service.

Marlborough - After a busy Saturday morning filled with chores and errands my husband Dave and I decided to have lunch at Funky Murphy’s new Marlborough location, 31 Main St., just down the street from the city’s downtown area. The restaurant shares a small parking lot with several other businesses and there are spots out front on the street. For additional parking, the restaurant recommends using the city municipal lot located at 1-37 Bolton St. Ext., which is less than a minute walk away.
