Shearing Day at Angel Hair Alpacas

North Grafton – The public is invited to a Shearing Day open house Saturday, June 4, starting at 9 a.m., at Angel Hair Alpacas in North Grafton. Shearing Day is fun for the whole family and a great opportunity to see all the animals, as well as any new babies for spring! Also, volunteers ages 10 and up are welcome, with no experience necessary. Jobs include leading animals, gathering fleece, running errands, etc.

Grafton selectmen hear new update on new DPW building

Grafton - Representatives from the Grafton Department of Public Works (DPW) and Jaime Fair of Weston and Sampson Consulting met with the Grafton Board of Selectmen at the board’s June 2 meeting to discuss the new DPW building project, which was initiated in 2006. The new facility is slated to be built at Estabrook and Old Westboro Road if approved by the town’s voters.

Evening of music to benefit Jeff Baskowski Music Scholarship

Grafton – Local musicians are rallying Saturday, May 7 at Hunter’s Grill & Tap at the Grafton Inn, 25 Grafton Common, to raise money for the Jeff Baskowski Music Scholarship.
