Grafton officials disagree over Pulte settlement

Grafton - A settlement between Pulte Builders and the town of Grafton was the subject of a disagreement between town officials during the Board of Selectmen’s April 7 meeting. On Jan. 9, town officials announced they had had reached a $1.3 million settlement with Pulte Homes over the profit dispute for the Hilltop Farms Chapter 40B development in South Grafton. Of the $1.3 million total amount, the town said it would retain $900,000 and the rest would cover legal expenses.

Grafton firefighter and farmer saves lives through service

Grafton - Whether it was fighting fires or cultivating crops, Kenneth Dion of North Grafton often was found at the scene, helping people in need. Dion retired in March after nearly 29 years of dedicated service with the Worcester Fire Department.
