Students prepare for life and career at Grafton Job Corps

Grafton - As some students busied themselves with projects in a bright classroom, others soaked up the noonday sun at picnic tables or played a round of ping pong in the recreation center during their lunch break. A Friday morning at the Grafton Job Corps is like being at any school - except that the students are not just in classrooms studying English and math; they are learning and practicing tangible skills that will directly prepare them for a career.

Marlborough defeats Grafton, advances to finals

Grafton – The #3 seed Marlborough Panthers defeated the #2 seed Grafton Indians by a score of 20-13 in a MIAA Football Central Division 4 semi-final playoff game on Friday evening, November 3.  This game had a bit of historical significance, as it was the first time these two area football teams have faced each other, despite both schools having football programs that date back to the 1890’s.
