Grafton Super Park wins next phase funding at Town Meeting

Grafton – The town’s Super Park project once again came before the voters, as the subject was debated at the Oct. 19 Town Meeting (TM). But unlike a request at the spring TM, the voters approved a warrant at the fall TM for funding for the project.

Grafton American Legion and VFW commemorate Veterans Day

Grafton - American Legion Post 92, Delisle Goulet, in Grafton -- joined by members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1497 of South Grafton -- recognized Veterans’ Day 2015 with a ceremony at the Legion post Nov. 11. In a misting, cold rain, before a crowd of 100 veterans, families, and friends, post members and guests saluted the US Flag, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, and heard a prayer, followed by “It is the Soldier,” read by the post chaplain. The ceremony then completed, those assembled adjourned for lunch.
