Hudson second-graders get a memorable ride to school

Hudson – On an unusually foggy morning Dec. 11, second-graders Kendall Jordan and A.J. Leandres were transported to C.A. Farley Elementary School via a Hudson Fire Department truck by Firefighters Brian Harrington, Matt LaBossiere and Brian Sleeper. Their unique mode of transportation wasn’t due to weather conditions. It was a raffle prize at the annual Ice Cream Social, a fundraiser for the Farley Home & School Association.

Fresh Start Furniture Bank seeking goods, volunteers

Marlborough/Hudson - In the past year, Fresh Start Furniture Bank has responded to 369 requests for help and given over 3,400 pieces of furniture and home goods to individuals and families in need. The nonprofit organization, formerly known as Touchstone Furniture Depot, located on Mechanic Street in Marlborough, recently moved to an expanded location at 34 Tower St., Unit E, in Hudson.

Assabet JROTC help Hudson police collect Toys for Tots
