Hudson Rotarians’ ‘duck race’ to help community for 25th year

Hudson – The Hudson Rotary Club is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Lucky Duck Race to benefit its scholarship fund and community service programs. This year, some of the proceeds will go toward creating a memorial for Hudson’s favorite son, Argeo Paul Cellucci, former Massachusetts governor and ambassador to Canada.

$1.7 million renovation on Hudson Elks Lodge is under way

Hudson – While the Hudson-Concord Elks Lodge #959 is in the midst of a $1.7 million renovation, members are also in the process of temporarily moving its weekly bingo and planning a reincarnation of its balloon festival. In 2012, Concord Elks #1479 opted to merge with Hudson. Funds collected from Concord’s property sale is going toward the renovation.

Hudson High School holds Health Fair

Hudson - Hudson High School (HHS) held its annual Health Fair in the gym March 13. Health-related vendor tables were set up around the perimeter of the room to include a wide array of agencies and clubs. Some of these included Schimmer Reiki Practitioner, Energy Healer, Angel and Tarot Card Reader, Americans with Disabilities Committee of Hudson, Boost Fitness, Chiropractor Richard R. Waller Jr., local hospitals, the Hudson Police Department, Melanoma Foundation, Good Samaritans, H.H.S. Gay Straight Alliance, Students Against Drunk Driving, Early Childhood Education, nurses and authors.

Running a green streak on St. Patrick’s Day
