Hudson

Region – Fred P. Lucy II and James David Quinn were the two candidates in a field of five to win the two seats on the Board of Selectmen in the Hudson Annual Town Election April 30. Lucy, who entered the race as an incumbent, received 1,397 votes. This will be Quinn's first stint on the board. He received 1,261 votes. Charles McGourty, who was also an incumbent, came in third with 1,023 votes. Phillip "Paddy P. Dolan had 1,0121 votes and Susan Dunnell had 768.

Hudson – The Hudson AMVETS Post 208 made special deliveries Dec. 25. Volunteers prepared and distributed 500 hot dinners as part of its 23rd annual "Home Alone for the Holidays." That was after they delivered 526 meals on Thanksgiving. For each holiday, dinners went to 11 communities including Hudson, Marlborough, Northborough and Southborough.
