The city’s pickleball players will soon have a newer – and expanded – place to play.

The Marlboro Shamrocks will compete against the Boston Bandits in their first playoff game. The Bandits went 7-3 in regular season action. The game will be played at West Roxbury Academy on September 16 at 7:00 p.m.

The Marlboro Shamrocks call Kelleher Field home. Shamrock linebacker Will Soto does too – but he means it literally.

The Marlborough Senior Babe Ruth baseball program awarded scholarships to three city high school graduates.

In a battle between two well-matched teams at Navin Arena on Feb. 1, the Marlborough boys hockey team defeated the Westborough Rangers by a score of 4-1.

In a girls varsity basketball matchup on Jan. 24, the Westborough Rangers defeated the Marlborough Panthers by a score of 51-40.

The Marlborough High School varsity gymnastics team emerged victorious over the Algonquin Regional High School team.

The Marlborough High School varsity gymnastics team came out on top during a tri-meet with Hudson and Shrewsbury on Jan. 11. 

The Marlborough boys varsity basketball team defeated the Westborough Rangers 55-53 on their home court Dec. 16. 

The Midland Wachusett League recently released its fall all-star list, which honors over 170 local high school athletes. 

As the Marlborough boys varsity track team races around the indoor track, they keep one goal in mind - to beat their own personal records.
