Boston Scientific to move headquarters to Marlborough

Marlborough – The city of Marlborough has scored another big business coup - Boston Scientific Corporation announced this morning that it will be consolidating its Natick and Marlborough campuses into its current Marlborough location, creating a new global headquarters. According to a press release from the company, a new facility will be built on the existing Marlborough campus. The consolidation will begin in the spring of 2013 and occur in stages. The move should be completed by the summer of 2014, the release said.

City Council approves lease for Bigelow School

Marlborough – The City Council has approved a request from Mayor Arthur Vigeant to enter into a 25-year lease agreement with the Assabet Valley Collaborative (AVC) that will allow the organization to occupy the Bigelow School for the next 25 years. The decision was approved at the Nov. 5 council meeting, and follows an in-depth review by the council's Operations and Oversight Committee.

Groups host Community Thanksgiving for seniors
