Boot Scootin’ BBQ to raise funds for new Marlborough Senior Center

Marlborough - Board members of the Friends of the Marlborough Senior Center extend an invitation to all to attend a Boot Scootin’ Barbecue Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Masonic Hall. Marlborough’s recreation director retiring after 18 years

Marlborough - David Grasso, recreation director for the city of Marlborough, has notified Mayor Arthur Vigeant that he will retire in the near future. In a communication to the City Council at the March 21 meeting, the mayor announced the resignation and said he will recommend to the Recreation Commission that Recreation Department Program Manager Charles Thebado be named in the position upon Grasso’s effective date of retirement.
