Board agrees to allow stormwater basin at Memorial Field

Northborough – Selectmen signed a memorandum of agreement with a private developer Jan. 26 that will enable him to address stormwater control issues by using town-owned land at Memorial Field. Department of Public Works Director Dan Nason said allowing a small detention basin on town land will enable the developer, Sterling Court Building Company, to address stormwater issues at a private subdivision under construction nearby, while also handling water that runs onto the property from the town's stormwater infrastructure.
