Northborough Food Pantry in urgent need of donations

Northborough – Due to a recent increased demand of families seeking help, the Northborough Food Pantry is now in urgent need of donations. The organization is asking the public to consider making donations of non-perishable supplies so that it may keep the shelves stocked and thus ensure local families do not go hungry. The Pantry helps up to 75 families a year, although at times that number can rise up to nearly 100 families, the group's volunteers said.

Local tournaments to benefit Mark Fidrych Foundation

Northborough/Shrewsbury - The Shrewsbury Little League will host the 2015 All Star Tournament Saturday, June 27, to Thursday, July 2, at Shrewsbury's Coolidge School field, 1 Florence St. The final game is played at Dean Park, 805 Main St., Shrewsbury. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Mark Fidrych Foundation, an organization which supports children with disabilities and special needs.
